The tiger wall was a kid’s idea
He said, “Dong-jie, we need our own totem.” Now everyone photographs it on the way in.
One day a twelve-year-old finished his game, pointed at the bare concrete wall and said: Dong-jie, every other club has a logo — we need a totem of our own. A tiger, because we play like a tiger pouncing.
So we found a muralist and painted an entire wall from his sketch. It has become the face of the club. Everyone who comes for the first time takes a photo in front of it.
“A place’s totem shouldn’t be picked by the owner — it should grow out of the people who keep coming back.”
