About

A court Michelle built for the kids.

Turning fragile adult promises into a floor people can actually walk onto.

Founder

Michelle Wang · 冬姐

Michelle is the founder of Aplus Sport Club. She built the club so that the badminton standard her own kids deserved would exist in Mississauga — and so that families like hers wouldn't have to drive an hour for serious training.

"Money can be wasted. The years our kids spend on this floor cannot."

At work, I am like the sea. Composed under the largest waves.

In life, I am like fire. I want to burn, to give warmth, to live with intensity.

A truly elevated life is not one of ease, but one that holds its grace through a thousand worries; not one of perpetual smooth sailing, but one that still loves the world after exhaustion.

Every shuttle we've tested. Every brand we've trusted. This is what court time looks like.

Vision

To make sports the force that empowers every person to push their limits, strengthen their body and mind, and connect families and communities.

Mission · five commitments

  1. 01

Develop youth willpower, focus, and teamwork — grow on the court, transform through challenge.

  2. 02

Provide professional coaching to help everyone improve skills, build fitness, and become stronger.

  3. 03

Build a passionate community where competition and personal growth go hand in hand.

  4. 04

Through tournaments, team events, and competitive parties, make sports the bridge that challenges self and unites teams.

  5. 05

Create a healthy, positive sports atmosphere where families share joy and deepen bonds through play.

Cultural DNA

A Western mall entrance, a Chinese Spring decoration.

Walk in through Sheridan Centre's main concourse and you'll find Spring-Festival red banners still on the doors months after the holiday. That isn't accident — it's the cultural register Aplus operates in.

The club is a home for Chinese-Canadian families: standard-of-care from the Chinese sports tradition, scheduling and service shaped to Canadian work-and-school rhythms. The training comes from one tradition; the way it's delivered comes from the other. Both feel native.
